Frequency-domain analysis of the periodically-forced Josephson-junction circuit

In this paper, a new frequency domain technique to analyze the Josephson-junction circuit dynamics is presented. This technique overcomes some of the limitations inherent to the analytical and time-integration techniques used in previous works. The technique can be extended to the analysis of this d...

The technique can be extended to the analysis of this device when combined with distributed elements in microwave systems. It allows an efficient analysis of the different types of steady-state solutions and the bifurcation loci in the presence of a periodic driving current source. No restriction is imposed to the driving source amplitude, enabling an accurate analysis of the influence of this parameter on the device superconducting properties. The technique has also been applied to analyze the quasi-periodic states present in this device together with the synchronized solutions to the driving current source. This work was supported by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness under Contract TEC2011-29264-C03-01.Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc.Universidad de Cantabria20142014-02-01journal articlehttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501NAhttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_be7fb7dd8ff6fe43info:eu-repo/semantics/articlehttp://hdl.handle.net/10902/9972IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers, 2014, 61(2), 512-521reponame:UCrea Repositorio Abierto de la Universidad de Cantabriainstname:Universidad de Cantabria (UC)Inglésengopen accesshttp://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessoai:repositorio.unican.es:10902/99722026-06-02T12:39:31Z
