Description
Summary:This letter presents an analytical method for improving the common port return loss (CPRL) equiripple of multiplexer synthesis. The method proposes detuning the reflection zeros (RZs) of the initially imposed Chebyshev channels along imaginary axis. This adjustment introduces a minor deviation from the ripple behavior in individual channels, effectively compensating for the equiripple discrepancy in the overall multiport function and yielding excellent execution times. Finally, a numerical example is provided to verify the method's enhancement over conventional multiplexer synthesis techniques, highlighting its practical effectiveness.
