| Sumario: | In this following Final Master's Thesis Report, an antenna system that operates in the mmWave band for future ADAS applications has been proposed. Based on the benchmark study carried out on the latest mmWave Automotive Exterior Radar technologies, a design of a Series-Fed antenna array capable of being integrated into the rear corner radar of a car has been developed to assist the driver by detecting targets at mid-range distances in areas with limited visibility. The antenna design is developed using an EM simulator so that the results can be as close as possible to a real measurement. Later, a complete MIMO system with 4 receiving antennas and 4 transmitting antennas is studied for the improvement of the angular resolution according to the Virtual Array created. The radiation pattern results conclude that the antenna of this project has a smooth working in 77 GHz MRR corner radar applications. |
