| Resumo: | There are significant gaps in the knowledge and distribution of the Class Holothuroidea from littoral coast of Asturias, and at the present moment of global change and biodiversity loss, the analysis of the species distribution and their changes is urgent. In this paper 237 specimens have been identified. They belong to 15 species of the Orders Aspidochirotida, Dendrochirotida, Apodida and Molpadida, mainly from intertidal zone, in rocky or soft bottom, and in continental shelf, collected since the 70s until today from the Asturian coast, although a few species from the Mediterranean or Atlantic, deposited in the Collection-BOS of the University of Oviedo, were also identified. Holothuria sanctori is reported by the first time for the Cantabrian Sea and Pseudocnus dubiosus koellikeri is a first record for the Spanish Atlantic coast. |
