Those elements make possible to explore the nature of and to refer to a constructivist view differentiated from other theoretical positions in psychology.El concepto constructivismo se utiliza en marcos conceptuales y en tradiciones de investigación diferentes. En este artículo, definimos un conjunto de elementos básicos que son comunes a las perspectivas constructivistas en psicología y educación. Esos elementos son: una epistemología relativista, una concepción de las personas como agentes activos, y una interpretación de la construcción del conocimiento como un proceso social y situado en un contexto cultural e histórico.
