Likewise, to present a biographical profile of the artist, we provide a documentary cast with the few news items that are known about this artist in an orderly manner, and which have been published progressively and dispersed since the end of the 19th century. Not many works of this artist of Catalan origin are conserved, therefore the fundamental contribution of this work is the attribution of three new tables to the painter Miguel J. Porta: one of them located in a private collection, another in commerce and a third on display in a museum, whose attribution we have reviewed[ES] Miguel Joan Porta es uno de los numerosos pintores formados en el entono de Joan de Joanes, figura estelar de la pintura valenciana del siglo XVI. Asimismo, para presentar un perfil biográfico del artista, proporcionamos un elenco documental con las escasas noticias que de este artista se conocen de manera ordenada, y que de forma progresiva y dispersa se han ido publicando desde finales del siglo XIX. No se conservan muchas obras de este artista de origen catalán, por ello la aportación fundamental de este trabajo es la atribución de tres nuevas tablas al pintor Miguel J. Porta: una de ellas localizada en una colección particular, otra en comercio y una tercera expuesta en un museo, cuya atribución hemos revisadoUniversidad de Granada.
