| Sumario: | [EN] Miguel Joan Porta is one of the many painters trained in the setting of Joan de Joanes, a leading figure in Valencian painting from the 16th century. Likewise, to present a biographical profile of the artist, we provide a documentary cast with the few news items that are known about this artist in an orderly manner, and which have been published progressively and dispersed since the end of the 19th century. Not many works of this artist of Catalan origin are conserved, therefore the fundamental contribution of this work is the attribution of three new tables to the painter Miguel J. Porta: one of them located in a private collection, another in commerce and a third on display in a museum, whose attribution we have reviewed |
