Descripción
Sumario:This dataset contains metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs) reconstructed from four environmental metagenomes collected from the Southern California Bight. A co-assembly was generated using MEGAHIT, and genome binning was performed using a combination of MetaBAT2, CONCOCT, and SemiBin2, followed by refinement and dereplication with MetaWRAP and dRep, respectively. All MAGs were annotated using Prokka. Two filtering strategies were applied to select high- and medium-quality MAGs: Initial filter: Completeness ≥50%, contamination ≤10%, resulting in 174 MAGs. Stricter filter: Completeness ≥70%, contamination ≤5%, and N50 ≥10,000 bp, resulting in 74 high-quality MAGs. This archive includes the annotated Prokka output directories for all 174 MAGs, each labeled with the prefix SPOT_MAG_XXX.prokka These annotated MAGs can be used for downstream functional or phylogenetic analyses in marine microbiome research
