Sumario:The author of this paper suggests that all the concepts hitherto used to describe syntactical links in polyclausal phrases shoud be revised, since this terminology involves some inherent difficulties. Beside this problem, we exarnine the question made by Touratier in proposing a quite distinct syntactical type, different from coordination as well as from subordination. Yet we agree to use the typological theory applied to the Catalan Syntax by Cuenca. This theory aims to recognize in Latin polyclausal phrases a new type of linlung, interordination, a type being featured by the following criteris: interdependence, bipolarity and asymmetry.
