Descripción
Sumario:The European Water Framework Directive (DMA, 2000/60 / EC) has as main objective to achieve good surface and groundwater bodies, using watershed hydrological plans and measures programmes as a key tool. It is so, in Annex 2 of its Hydrological Plan, the Júcar River Basin District makes the estimation of the total of water resources that each of the exploitation systems in which the hydrographic demarcation is divided. This estimation is carried out using the PATRICAL simulation model (Precipitation Contribution in Integrated Water Sizes with Water Quality), which simulates the hydrological cycle distributed in space with a resolution of 1 km x 1 km and monthly time step (Pérez. 2005 & Pérez et al. 2013). In this context, the present Final Master's Thesis is developed with the purpose of improvement of the groundwater component and the river-aquifer relationship of the PATRICAL, it will be will considered the use of a new geological map, that will take into account the permeability of the formations in its vertical component; ando also will define the limits permeabilities of the groundwater bodies existing in the field of study; thus it means a re-calibration of lateral transfers; incorporated into the model information of the interrelationship existing between riverbeds and permeable geological formations. Additionally, a map of springs discharges will be incorporated to the mode, improving the model regarding the form that the drainage takes place into the surface network. It will contrast ETP estimates with information from other official bodies, and it will be considered various studies that serve as reference towards the volumes of underground discharge in the Mediterranean Sea. All the the changes mentioned above will generate new results, which through various aspects will be evaluated to judge the model¿s improvement.
