| Sumario: | [EN] This paper aims to put in paralel both the initial sketches and the application of diagrams in the architectural process of design, analizing the characteristics of the initial moment of design. Both diagrams and sketches are part of the strategic and graphic heritage of architecture. The developments of parametrical designs from diagrams have suposed a qualitative improvement in the contemporary architectural imaginary.The purpose is to contrast the qualities between these two elements, that is, initial sketches and diagrams, in order to establish similarities and differences between them comprehensively enough to know their dimensión and effect on the contemporay Architectural Graphic Expression, which is never outside of the idelogical debates that take place on this respect and which always involve graphic consequences. |
