Since the manuals present in most cases the prototypical structures and in the activities they fundamentally propose that the student assign labels to the sequences, in this case we will focus on a proposal that leads the student to discover and reflect on the coherence and internal relations of the grammatical system. To do this, the performance of paraphrase constitutes a procedure that would help enrich the use of the language and reflect on aspects of the grammar of Spanish that may influence the recognition of the value of this type of adverbial subordinate sentences. Thus, the conceptual content that manifests a prototypical conditional period consisting of an if clause protasis and an apodosis, can be manifested through another structures (Albano[ES] El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar una propuesta de enseñanza a partir de los avances de una investigación acerca del tratamiento que los manuales para la educación secundaria de la Argentina les otorgan a las oraciones subordinadas, en particular a las adverbiales “impropias”. Dado que los manuales presentan en la mayoría de los casos las estructuras prototípicas y en las actividades proponen fundamentalmente que el alumno asigne etiquetas a las secuencias, en este caso nos centraremos en una propuesta que conduzca al estudiante a descubrir y reflexionar sobre la coherencia y las relaciones internas del sistema gramatical. Para ello, la realización de paráfrasis constituye un procedimiento que ayudaría al enriquecimiento del uso de la lengua y a la reflexión sobre aspectos de la gramática del español que pueden incidir sobre el reconocimiento del valor de ese tipo de oraciones subordinadas adverbiales.
