Sumario:The aim of this article is to analyse the pontifical contribution to the conquest of Sardinia between 1323 and 1409 by the Crown of Aragon. Considering the succession of fiscal cycles established in the Crown of Aragon, we will pay special attention to how the diverse pontifical taxes were inserted in these cycles. Finally, thanks to the detailed study of these revenues, it is possible to establish the real destination of these incomes and their articulation in the financial system of the crown.
