Descrição
Resumo:We present the results of a preliminary study on the Santa Eulalia batholith (Alto Alentejo, Portugal). This batholith is made up of two granitic facies, several stocks of basic rocks concentrically disposed and some metasedimentary mega-enclaves. From a geochemical point of view, both granitic facies are peraluminous but difficult to characterize, showing similarities with S- A- and l-granite types. The two granites seem to represent independent magmatic pulses with different source material. The comparison with other granites from the Central Iberian Zone with S-type features, reveals several mineralogical and geochemical differences
