| Sumario: | Description of methods used for collection/generation of data: The Global Granite Geochemistry and Outcrop Database (GGGOD) is a free, Open Access, user-friendly, Geographical Information System (GIS)-based resource allowing the visualization, plotting, and spatial analysis of all granitoid compositions that have been reported hitherto in various Open Access databases and publications. Data can be filtered by location, composition, and source using GIS vector analysis tools. Geochemical data is compiled from FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable), Open Access initiatives (dataset modified after Gard et al., 2019). Granitoid outcrops are redrawn from the Global Litholoigcal Map (GLIM, Universität Hamburg; Hartmann and Moosdorf, 2012). |
