Sumario:The current energy model makes us dependent on fossil fuels, and marine transport is an important part of this consumption. In this project, two well developed technologies in the industries but no so well used in the marine field are presented. These are power generation and automation, which will be used to build a boat with a lower fuel consumption. And also, it will improve its control performance, with the posibility to be used in offshor wind turbines maintenance, among other activities. On the one hand, it will be presented the reconstruction of the generation and propulsion electrical equipment, as the analyzed results of the electrical measurements of the installation. In order to show the advantages of the facility in comparison to others more conventionals. On the other hand, it's presented the design of an automation installation in order to improve the control performance of the boat. Including the choice of equipment and the necessary development of the softwares. And an introduction to the influential sensors that takes part in this automatization. Also the technical and economic viability of the facility as a business model.
