Some painters and illustrators of Catalan modernism, including Ramon Casas, were particularly inspired by the model of the young «Parisienne» and adopted this typified figure in their paintings. The main purpose of this article is to approach the relationship between those artists and the representation of fashion in the context of their artistic creation as well as to bring out the impact of the Parisian archetype.[fra] Depuis la deuxième moitié du XIXe siècle nous assistons à la construction du «mythe» de la Parisienne en tant qu’icône de mode et de modernité dans les arts et la littérature. Quelques peintres et dessinateurs du modernisme catalan, notamment Ramon Casas, adoptèrent le motif iconographique de la jeune femme parisienne et s’en servirent comme source d’inspiration pour habiller les femmes qui peuplaient leurs illustrations.
