Resumo:Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) is a communicative approach based on teaching a non-language subject through the medium of a foreign language, which is recommended by European policies on multilingualism. In Spain, the programme was first put into practice in Andalusia in school year 1998-1999 and in the Balearic Islands in 2004-2005, where the programme is called “European Sections”.
