| Sumario: | This thesis aims to identify and analyse the impact on the implementation of successful educational actions with vulnerable groups, thus responding to the social objectives stipulated by the United Nations Organization (2015) and the European Commission (2014a). To achieve this general objective, the doctoral thesis has been produced through a set of articles. Article 1 focuses on investigating the emotional, educational and personal impact on adolescents who reside in out‐of‐home care institutions and participate voluntarily in dialogic literary gatherings. Article 2 presents the analysis carried out with the parents who have decided to participate in family education actions in the centre where their children study. In this article, we have studied the benefit that it has for the participants and the impact it has on their children. Article 3 focuses on the study of the reduction of vulnerability and empowerment of immigrant women who participate in dialogic literary gatherings. All the articles are based on the Communicative methodology (Gómez, Puigvert & Flecha, 2011), thus creating spaces of equal dialogue between the researcher and the participants being studied, without making the participants feel that they are being used for research, but rather as an active voice and part of it. Through this methodology, the voices of all the participants have been included, which is a key aspect for research with vulnerable groups (Mertens & Hesse Biber, 2013). The main results show that implementing successful educational actions with vulnerable groups has a positive impact on their lives at an educational, personal and community level. |
