| Sumario: | A real time, interactive, hybrid model is presented, for the study of the temperature and concentration transients of a distillation column in continuous operation, brought about by perturbations ocurring during a previously achieved steady state regime. The physical system is described, and the mathematical model and the distribution of the analogic and numeric calculations with the allocation of the specific tasks to each computer, are given. Finally, an analysis is made of the results for the case of a pentane-hexane mixture. |
