Studies published over the last 10 years were retrieved from PubMed, Scopus, CINAHL, and Web of Science, resulting in the inclusion of 11 articles. The findings indicate an association between early exposure to pornography and the normalization of sexist stereotypes and dynamics, which may promote behaviors related to gender-based violence.
