Descripción
Sumario:Data collected in the framework of the ERC project Artsoundscapes, the sound of special places: exploring rock art soundscapes and the sacred (https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/787842). The project focuses on the relationship between archaeoacoustics and rock art. The dataset includes audio files that are some the impulse responses gathered in a selection of rock art sites in the Urkosh Area (Russian Altai), more specifically, Gran Yaloman, Urkosh XV, Foothill, Boulder, Urkosh IV B, Rock face 1 & Rock face 2. The tables include the acoustic data derived from those impulse responses. Fieldwork was conducted in August 2019, by Margarita Díaz-Andreu, Adriano Farina, Tommaso Mattioli, Laura Coltofean, Elio Smith, Elena Miklashovich and Andrzej Rozwadowski.
