On this basis, a proposal is put forward for the distribution of content that allows the study of change in Early Childhood Education to be tackled from a holistic approach and, in primary education, from the contributions offered by the different blocks of content in the school curriculum. In the second part, various resources and activities are presented to work on change from 3 to 12 years of ageEl cambio constituye un conocimiento esencial del álgebra temprana, puesto que permite desarrollar el pensamiento algebraico en general e impulsar el pensamiento funcional en particular. En la primera parte del artículo se fundamenta teóricamente el álgebra temprana y el cambio. A partir de ello, se plantea una propuesta de distribución de contenidos que permiten abordar el estudio del cambio en educación infantil, desde un enfoque holístico, y en educación primaria, a partir de las aportaciones que ofrecen los distintos bloques de contenido del currículo escolar.
