The consideration of some rules in its morphogenesis and urban development drove us to contrast them in other sites akin to those, by means of bibliography and of four international conferences that we began to organize in 2004. The discussion with archaeologists, architects, historians and arabists have made possible to confirm, clarify or rule out our initial ideas. The aim of this study is to present a summary of those conclusions, that we have published in a most developed way in 2007, in a brief book entitled Las ciudades de Alandalús.
