Sumario:In this study, we intend to summarize some characteristics related to the andalusian urbanism, specifically to its formation and evolution, as a result of the studies that we have been publishing during the last years, based on the information obtained in our archaeological excavations carried out in Murcia and Siyâsa (Cieza, Murcia). The consideration of some rules in its morphogenesis and urban development drove us to contrast them in other sites akin to those, by means of bibliography and of four international conferences that we began to organize in 2004. The discussion with archaeologists, architects, historians and arabists have made possible to confirm, clarify or rule out our initial ideas. The aim of this study is to present a summary of those conclusions, that we have published in a most developed way in 2007, in a brief book entitled Las ciudades de Alandalús. Nuevas perspectivas;
