| Sumario: | [EN] "Penelope’s Crazy Fabrics. Time, Word and Painting" presents a personal painting project that was developed during the confinement (started in March 2020 and finished in December 2021). The results of this project are marked by the temporality of the process. The act of doing and its passing became a comfort to me during confinement, a comfort from emotions and frustrations, fears and personal drives. In these works the temporality of words and the time of painting join together to let confinement time, word time and painting time share a single space. These are the three axes on which this work revolves and which will be addressed in three blocks: Small tasks (small works on rice paper), Big and crazy (large works on canvas) and Confinement-free fabrics (Artist's book format). |
