| Sumario: | [EN]Results on DNA amplifications are presented for the Encalypta species present in the Iberian Peninsula. DNA was isolated from protonema obtained from cultures in vitro spores. The internal transcribed spacers 1 and 2, including the 5.8S nrDNA have been amplified. Pair primers ITS5/ITS4, ITS1/ITS4, ITS1/ITS2 and ITS3/ITS4 were tested by using two different amplification protocols. ITS5/ITS4 and ITS1/ITS4 yielded amplimer only from fresh samples, not from herbarium collections, from which only primers ITS1/ITS2 and ITS3/ITS4 amplified successfully each of the ITS regions separately. |
