Sumario:The crystallization of olivine solid solutions from Na2CoxNi1-xSi4O10 (0.0 ≤ x ≤ 1.0) compositions, synthesized via the chemical co-precipitation method, was studied. These materials enable a gradation of the green to blue coloration in both powdered and enamelled forms. The presence of additional crystalline phases alongside these olivine solid solutions at 1000 and 1200 °C does not decrease the intensity of the colour. This allows a reduction in the amount of Ni(II) and Co(II) in the compositions. The crystallization of olivine begins at 800 °C in a pink phase with 0.4 ≤ x ≤ 0.8 in compositions. Its spectra can be interpreted as the effect of combining the colour contributions of Ni(II) and Co(II) ions in octahedral sites. At 1000 and 1200 °C, compositions with x > 0.2 exhibit a blue colour, and an additional spectral band attributed to Co(II) ions in tetrahedral coordination is observed.
