| Sumario: | This paper aims to explore the most frequented common places by contemporary Basque literature that deal with the issue of armed conflicts in the Basque context, conflicts that are a central and constant element in many contemporary literary representations of- and discourses on aberria or Basque heimat. There are certain literary motifs that have worked as recurrent themes when writing the literary "narrative" of the cultural memory that touches the political-armed conflict. These motifs will be examined through some literary texts written by different Basque canonical authors, such as A. Urretabizkaia, B. Atxaga, J. Muñoz, R. Saizarbitoria and K. Agirre, among others. |
