Gold and silver complexes of methylenebis(dialkyldithiocarbamates) and the X-ray structure of CH2[S2CN(CH2Ph)2]2
The coordination chemistry of CH2(S2CNR2)2 for R = Me, Et, n-Bu and benzyl with Au(I), Au(III) and Ag(I) is examined. The single crystal X-ray diffraction study of CH2[S2CN(CH2Ph)2]2 is described. Nineteen new complexes are characterized by IR, 1H, 19F, 31P (when appropriate) NMR, elemental analysis...

| Resumo: | The coordination chemistry of CH2(S2CNR2)2 for R = Me, Et, n-Bu and benzyl with Au(I), Au(III) and Ag(I) is examined. The single crystal X-ray diffraction study of CH2[S2CN(CH2Ph)2]2 is described. Nineteen new complexes are characterized by IR, 1H, 19F, 31P (when appropriate) NMR, elemental analysis, mass spectra (FAB) and conductivity measurements. Neutral and cationic mono- and dinuclear species have been synthesized. The coordination chemistry of CH2(S2CNR2)2 is via the C=S functionality. |
