Sumario:This dissertation aims to describe and analyze the way it conducts training of teachers Brazilians Spanish language course in fifteen Brazilian universities today; to present the situation of the implementation process of the law 11.161/2005 in the Brazilian states; as well as detailing the presence of Spain, through the work of the nine centers of the Instituto Cervantes and the Consejería de Educación, aimed at the promotion and dissemination of the Spanish language in Brazil. Furthermore, the thesis has been proposed to publicize the activities of two Spanish companies (Telefónica and Banco Santander) that have been erected in driving, ie, financially responsible, of the training of future professionals in the Spanish as a foreign language in that South American country.
