| Sumario: | [EN] The limited resources in health systems requires setting priorities in health care . This process inevitably means that some users may benefit at the expense of others. One way to prioritize activities according to the technique is to make the cost-utility , which takes into account both the quantity and the quality of life gained from those activities . However , dealing fairly and anonymously all persons not adequately reflect the criteria that people have about the fair distribution of resources , imposing the idea of incorporating alternative redistributive value judgments , of which perhaps the most importantly, does the innate human inclination to save lives in danger ¿. In the same vein , Williams believes that plans to distribute health resources should pay particular attention to the procedures for their patients for life-threatening .
