Descripción
Sumario:[EN]: In this article we edit a short Judeo-Spanish play written in Hebrew characters by Aharon de Yosef aźan. It was performed in Izmir ca. 1883 and published later in Jerusalem in 1894. The text deals with the hard house-cleaning done by Sephardic women just after the feast of Purim in order to leave it suitable for Passover, according to the Jewish dietary laws. On the opposite side, this play shows the complaints of the husbands, who suffer for a month, the disturbance of their lives and primary habits.
