A gravimetric geoid in the Mediterranean sea

The present paper reports the status of the research developed by the MADRID-GEOMED GROUPin the field of the Mediterranean Geoid computation. A new detailed GRS80 gravimetric geoid for the Mediterranean sea is presented, in a 5'x5' grid. The Least Squares Collocation method has been used.
