Descripción
Sumario:This article aims at showing the meaning and role of moral conscience in an ethical system based on the first person perspective. In light of the distinction between direct exercise and reflex exercise of practical reason, conscience should be placed in the sphere of reflex exercise and, therefore, adopts an important yet derivative role. In the direct perception of good, the understanding of the global human good plays a fundamental role as a principle that orders goods, activities, and the criteria with which virtues regulate them.
