Sumario:[EN] Intangible cultural heritage has a unique function, containing exposure and/or expressions that have highly symbolic essence for communities, being deployed through areas as broad as performing arts, social practices, rituals, celebrations and traditional knowledge. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has taken on the task of studying and positioning better ways to understand the development of this heritage, proposing that there are four essential aspects , which we call dimensions, those are: 1 ) Traditional, contemporary and living at the same time, 2) Integrative, 3) Representative 4) Based on the community, in this article the development of this we will dig into a theoretical deepening of each of these dimensions to expand this panorama and improve in their understanding, with a view to create best treatment practices, in addition to reflect on personal actions.
