Sumario:[EN] Intangible Cultural Heritage is governed in Spain by the UNESCO Convention of 2003, Law 1/2015 and the regional laws that contain references to this kind of heritage. In these legal texts are included the definition, criteria and limits to be able to define a broad and changing concept. While fragile, intangible cultural heritage is an important factor in maintaining cultural diversity in the face of growing globalization. An understanding of the intangible cultural heritage of different communities helps with intercultural dialogue, and encourages mutual respect for other ways of life
