In particular, Big Data techniques raise serious concerns on massive data processing, given the lack of explicit notice about such practices in privacy policies. Albeit EU General Data Protection Regulation has codified the principle of transparency, one of the main findings of this paper is that privacy policies are still designed to foster legitimization of the «Social Norm» to the detriment of the «privacy by default» principle.Instituto de FilosofíaUniversidad Complutense de Madrid20172017-05-3120172017-05-31journal articlehttp://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501AMhttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_ab4af688f83e57aainfo:eu-repo/semantics/articleapplication/pdfhttps://hdl.handle.net/20.500.14352/113548reponame:Docta Complutenseinstname:Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM)Inglésengopen accesshttp://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessoai:docta.ucm.es:20.500.14352/1135482026-06-02T12:44:21Z
