| Sumario: | In this chapter the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and education for SDGs (ESDG) are presented. The history of the SDGs and ESDG is highlighted showing the evolution of ESDG policies towards 2030. The key eight sustainability competences and 255 learning objectives and the European Sustainability Competence framework are introduced. The key elements to catalyse the learning of those competencies are highlighted at the end of the chapter. |
