| Sumario: | [EN] This article aims to present, reflect on, and bring visibility to the relationships between intangible cultural heritage and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, through the analysis of three case studies in the Iberá Wetlands region (Corrientes, Argentina), the second largest wetland in South America. In this article, heritage is understood as the legacies, traditions, resources, and values of communities in small rural towns within the province of Corrientes. Using a participatory methodology and a territorial perspective, the study examines heritage elements linked to local identity, their characteristics, uses, and functions. From this foundation, it explores the contributions of community-based culture to the achievement of the SDGs. The analysis of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) in the region reveals the potential of the cultural dimension as a fundamental pillar of sustainable development. |
