Sumario:With this work, I would like to pay tribute to the figure of Alexander Pfänder, a philosopher who is little known, at least in Spain. In my view, he has been one of the precursors of phenomenological personalism, especially of the ethical personalism of Max Scheler and Dietrich von Hildebrand. Although he does not achieve a clear concept of the person, it is worth knowing, studying, and following in some way his philosophical journey, since there is no doubt that his thought has been very illuminating for personalistic philosophy.
