Descripción
Sumario:In recent years, edge computing has refined data management and analytics by facilitating real-time processing closer to data sources, significantly reducing latency and bandwidth utilization. In conjunction with cloud computing and High Performance Computing, it forms a compute continuum, seamlessly integrating each component with the aim of facilitating efficient data processing and management across diverse applications and networks. This master's thesis focuses in the development of deployment mechanisms across the edge-to-cloud continuum, proposing a two-layer solution-implemented with COMPSs and Kubernetes-that meets the computing and communication requirements of analytics methods, and enables the execution of distributed applications in heterogeneous edge-to-cloud infrastructures.
