| Resumo: | This dossier lists a variety of resources for improving knowledge of some of the proposals for administrative reform considered crucial in the current era of constant and rapid change. To facilitate a closer examination of these proposals for agile, adaptive and, above all, public-serving public administrations, literature references are provided for: adapting the administrative procedure and moving towards a more consensus-based and less encroaching administration; achieving a more understanding public administration providing guarantees that meet the needs of society as a whole; achieving adequate data management and use by government authorities, an area that must also help improve decision-making and the management of public services, among many other factors; better and more effective supervision of government action; and, finally, structuring channels for collaboration between the public and private sectors, which are increasingly necessary in today's globalised society |
