| Sumario: | We intend here to analyze the Aristotle's treatment of tò ápeiron, mainly developed in Ph. III 4-8, with a view to highlighting the absence in the classical Greece of an experience of the infinite as "that of which there is always something out". Thus we'll show that this Aristotle's description of the infinite presupposes, on the one hand, the consideration that in fact there is nothing infinite, and, on the other hand, the phenomenon itself of the extinction of the classical Greece. |
