Descrição
Resumo:[EN] The goal of this study is to determine the economic value (implicit price) that consumers give to different characteristics with influence in the purchase decision of traditional varieties of tomatoes. To accomplish this aim three hedonic price models have been estimated with data obtained from an experi-mental auction where participants should bid and value hedonically the tomatoes. The results point to a re-lationship between the price and the income level of the participants, as well as the tomato hedonic ratings.
