| Sumario: | In this article we explain the conclusions extracted from the study of two hundred twenty-nine coins proceeding from twenty different archaeological sites in rural north-eastern areas of the Iberian Peninsula. We aim to determine which were the most circulated types of coin by examining the module, metal, mint, emissary, and type of reverse of the coins. We thus propose some brief hypotheses about the economy that existed in the aforementioned area, as well as compare our results with those obtained in other studies of coin circulation carried out in the Iberian Peninsula and in the rest of Europe |
