| Sumario: | Statistical and probabilistic literacy can help citizens understand and face global crises like the one caused by COVID-19. From this perspective, the first part describes the important mathematical knowledge that primary school teachers must mobilize to develop student literacy and, in the second part, some contextualized experiences with data from COVID-19 are presented. It is concluded that, through these experiences, students can reflect on their own actions, considering their current and future social, cultural, economic and environmental impacts, thus contributing to training citizens committed to sustainability |
