| Sumario: | The aim of this project is to study generalized Lotka-Volterra systems applied in ecology. This work is divided in five parts: The first one is related to study of steady states in Lotka-Volterra model and their local stability; An introduction to the Linear Complementarity Problem and their main theoretical results are analyzed in the second part. This problem is applied to find the equilibria of Lotka-Volterra system and their global stability. This will be our third part of the project. The fourth part is about to use all the results in 3D Lotka-Volterra system and the research of regions where solutions converges to stable equilibria. The last chapter is devoted to generalize the Lotka-Volterra system using a generalized function in the right hand side of model. We will study the main results that appear if the right hand side is changed by a nonlinear function. |
