Sumario:[EN] The following article is born from the attempt to explore possible answers to the question of what is the relationship between «art» and «pilgrimage» in contemporary artistic production, in light of the events that broke out in the s. XX in the visual arts, where "walking" broke out de facto as an autonomous aesthetic practice. Based on this exploration, the following lines describe different encounters between «art» and «pilgrimage» that have taken place in recent decades by national and international creators with the aim, mainly, of establishing a dialogue with their own pilgrimage experience as well as establishing a dialogue with the history of the phenomenon. Encounters that conceive of the pilgrimage per se as an autonomous experience and as a methodology for an aesthetic exploration as well as a reflective experience for personal artistic practice.
