| Resumo: | [EN] Within the II International Conference of Research on Visual Arts organised by ANIAV a discussion panel has been proposed in order to talk about different points of view with regard to concepts and doings on present artistic research. The debate will take place as a transversal and complementary way to the Conference’s topic. It will aim to deal with questions that can derive from different ways of understanding what is real or virtual within artistic research processes. As a departure point, we have asked participants in the discussion to help us to identify whats and hows considered necessaries to take into account when redefining the current artistic research. The objectives of this discussion are: to help us to see what is considered resolved but does not work; to make us see current problems and new approaches related to arts and the framework of academic research; finally, to rethink about places and ways of doing artistic research within the present social and academic context. This text aims to be an introduction to contributions proposed by discussion participants, prior to meeting at the Conference. |
